The house cleaning service policies document will be updated as needed, so please ask about time to time to make sure about changes. It's not that we want to have tons of rules and regulations, it's just that we want to make sure we are all on the same page, and that's where this page helps.
Our Cleaning Service is VETTED, BONDED AND FULLY INSURED and has specialized in providing quality high professional cleaning in Lisburn and surrounding areas 10 miles from 1 of April 2011.
We are responsible for all payroll taxes and have workers compensation insurance.
We provide all equipment and supplies, but will use specialty products at the client’s instruction (supplied by the client).
Shining House guarantee consistent high quality cleaning services. We employ reliable, trustworthy cleaning people that are motivated by company incentives and rewards. The same dedicated crew will clean your home on each visit( excludes their holidays).
For the safety of our employees, please make us aware of the location of any and all firearms. Our employees have also been instructed not to lift any items over 15 kilo. For the safety of our employees they have been instructed to never open the door while in a customer’s home with the exception of one of Shining House workers. From time to time I will be stopping by just to follow up on the cleaning. This is to insure that the service provided meets Shining House standards.
Our goal is to exceed your expectations for professional cleaning services in Lisburn and surrounding areas. We inspect our work before leaving the premises. If the Client is not satisfied with the cleaning standard of certain areas after the cleaning, the Company’s operatives will come back to the Client’s home and re-clean those areas free of charge. Requests received by more than 24 hours after the service was provided unfortunately do not been accepted. Also full payment for our service must been done within 7 days from date of our come. The Client agrees to allow the Company back to re-clean any disputed areas/items before making any attempts to clean those areas/items himself or arranging a third party to carry out cleaning or repair services with regards to the above. Failure to do so will void our Company Guarantee and we will consider the matter fully settled. If payment has not been received in full or has been stopped by the Client we will immediately refer the account for collection, make CCJ and use Credit Note what can affected your credit score in the future.
Please notify us as soon as possible with any changes or cancellations. We always try to accommodate your schedule.Please make sure that we can enter your home, either by providing us with a key, a code, or having someone to open the door for us. Shining House reserve time for your cleaning; therefore we are require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Customer can cancel an appointment on website, by phone or Facebook Page. There is no charge for cancellations made with 24-hour notice on business days (M-S, 8 am to 8 pm). However, we charge a £25 fee for cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice.
Monday clients must cancel by close of business on the preceding Saturday.
Note: A £25 fee is automatically billed for a late cancellation.
Payment: Unless you are invoiced each time when we are in your home, full payment is required upon completion of the cleaning service. You may pay by check (made payable to M GROSZ), cash, or call to pay by credit card. No credit card information is stored electronically. Outstanding balances must be paid prior to the next 7 days. After that time we will charge additional amount £0.50 each unpaid day until full payment will be done.
The cleaning crew will immediately notify the client of any accidental damage that occurs during any job. While we make every effort not to break items, accidents do happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, we request all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. Shining House must be notified within 24 hours of service if damage is discovered. Unfortunately after that time your request don't be accepted. Shining House is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (i.e., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
Your pets are important to us. For their safety as well as ours, please let us know how they should be handled. Shining House is not responsible for cleaning out litter boxes or any messes due to ill pets. Please let us know if you have a preference for a certain product that you would like us to use. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. We do our best to be as flexible as we can with the schedule to accommodate the needs of all our clients. During the holidays we appreciate your flexibility as we attempt to fill our clients’ many requests for additional service.
SHINING HOUSE CLEANING SERVICE WILL NOT:
- Clean any pet problems such as urine, fecal matter or vomit.
- Clean up any blood stains or clothing with blood.
- Use ladder higher than the 3rd rung.
- Move heavy furniture such as sofa's, refrigerators, wall units, etc.
- Clean outside windows.
Shining House never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
Service Provider's can get few photos to show their hard work ''BEFORE'' and ''AFTER'' to use it for flyers, Facebook Page or website but never been use the Customers Names or contact details to provide from who they are.
A fee equal to one year’s cleaning service will be charged to any client who hires an employee of Shining House Cleaning Service or hires a former employee of Shining House Cleaning Service within one (1) year following the employee’s last day as an employee of Shining House Cleaning Service.

As a client of Shining House , I understand that once I have accepted an appointment time, and have been placed on a house cleaner’s schedule, that I have agreed to all of the terms of this agreement. If there are any terms of this agreement that I do not agree with I will request in writing an amendment to the agreement. I understand that I will not be placed on a schedule until a mutual agreement has been reached.
